Introducing The Right Tack – A Podcast for Behavioral Health Leaders

After years of working alongside behavioral health providers—helping navigate the complexities of billing, credentialing, and running a private practice—I’m excited to introduce something new: The Right Tack, a podcast for private practice owners and leaders who are building something of their own in this ever-shifting healthcare landscape.

Episode 1: Ground Rules

In this first episode, I sit down with my brother Jim Jonas, a therapist and my co-founder at BreezyBilling and Phoenix Credentialing. We talk about the goals of the podcast, the values behind our work, and why we’re calling this show The Right Tack. (Spoiler: it’s a sailing term—when the wind shifts, you adjust your direction, or “tack,” to keep moving forward. That’s exactly what practice owners do every day.)

We also dive into the “Ground Rules” that guide our team at BreezyBilling. These aren’t your typical corporate core values—they’re the principles we’ve lived by as we’ve grown Breezy, and the same ones that shape how we work with our customers, our team, and the wider provider community.

Just the beginning…

This first episode is just the beginning. In future episodes, I’ll be joined by guest experts from across the behavioral health world—therapists, consultants, operational leaders, and other folks who know what it takes to run and grow a successful practice. Whether you’re just getting started or expanding your team, my hope is that The Right Tack gives you real insight and practical advice you can actually use.

Thanks for listening—and welcome aboard.
