BreezyBilling Is Expanding Into Illinois

We are thrilled to share a major milestone for BreezyBilling. After years of supporting behavioral health providers across Minnesota and throughout the country, we are officially expanding into Illinois, and our team is thrilled to partner with clinics across the state.

Illinois has a vibrant and growing behavioral health community. It is also a market where providers are facing serious administrative challenges, and helping providers with those challenges is where BreezyBiling shines.

A Warm Welcome as We Begin Our Illinois Expansion

Our expansion into Illinois is already off to a strong start. As we began reaching out to behavioral health providers across the state, our first step was attending the Illinois Counseling Association's 77th Annual Conference this month. It was an ideal place to start building connections, hear directly from clinicians, and introduce BreezyBilling to a community that is ready for more support.

The conference brought together professionals across counseling, social work, psychology, and marriage and family therapy. It also represented the broad range of specialties and licensures we look forward to serving as we expand further into Illinois. Although ICA was our initial touchpoint, it is only the beginning. Our team is committed to connecting with providers from every corner of the behavioral health landscape.

Building these early relationships confirmed something important. Illinois providers are working hard to meet the rising demand for mental health services, and they deserve strong administrative partners who can help them thrive. We are excited to continue meeting practices and to support the essential work they do every day.

Why Illinois Providers Need Support Now

Illinois practices are navigating several ongoing challenges. These include:

Payer credentialing delays. Many clinicians shared their frustration with long and unpredictable timelines that hold up new hires and stall revenue.

Complicated Medicaid and managed care structures. Providers often spend hours sorting out requirements and dealing with unclear answers from payers.

Inconsistent reimbursement workflows. Claims are getting stuck, denied, or delayed, and many practices do not have the support they need to stay on top of follow-up.

Rapid growth in demand for services. Practices are expanding quickly, but do not always have the operational systems needed to scale without burnout.

These issues prevent providers from doing the work they love. Our goal is to step in with the expertise, organization, and partnership Illinois practices have been asking for.

What BreezyBilling Brings to Illinois

As we expand into the state, Illinois providers can expect:

  • Clear, predictable billing and revenue cycle support

  • Credentialing and contracting assistance through Phoenix Credentialing

  • Guidance on insurance rules and payer expectations

  • Reliable follow-through on claims, denials, and payor communication

  • A true partnership that helps practices grow without adding administrative strain

We believe behavioral health practices should have the same level of support (and success) as larger medical systems. BreezyBilling is here to make that possible.

Looking Ahead

It’s evident from our first conference that Illinois is full of passionate, talented clinicians who want to focus on serving clients rather than fighting with insurance companies. We could not be more excited to help providers across the state run smoother, healthier, more sustainable practices.

Illinois, we are ready for you. Let’s build something great together.
